MoMA Store

We love the MoMA Museum, but we also find cool stuff for the kids, great books and cheap things from Muji at the MoMA Design Store. It is conveniently located near our showroom in SoHo (just look up and you will see us), so we can dash over for a last minute gift, something for a client, or a great book for inspiration. And they are on line, too.

Make it Makie

One of our new favorite stores brought to our attention by our Chief Creative Officer's wife is Makie. Located conveniently near our studio in SoHo, it has cute clothes, accessories, some antiques and even things for Mom. One for you, two for me, is what I always say! And if you are strapped for time there is a handy section on the website that allows you to view outfits that are already coordinated. It's cold out there. We recommend these cute mittens.

Wallpaper for boys....and girls?

One of our favorite blogs is Coochicoos and we have to credit them for finding this amazing wallpaper. The company Paper Boy Wallpaper, was created with boys in mind- "where boys themes meet grown up style." But we think it may appeal to girls as well. Check out the pattern inspired by hand shadows. It's hand printed and you can order samples to get everyone's approval before buying.

Removable Numbers

These numbers caught our eye at Modern Family at Dwell on Design. They have a great graphic quality in bright colors. And the best part is they are removable, so you can put them on furniture or the wall and move them when you get inspired. For a good time call? 8675309? Probably not appropriate, but we bet you can come up with some clever ideas.

Vivre

A while ago we saw a very cool puzzle made of mirror.  Not very child friendly, but very cool.  It was in Vivre,  Eva Jeanbart Lorenzotti's  magalog of  finds from all over the world.  So we were thrilled when Vivre asked us to be a part of their kids section.  Check it out! We are sure you will find something to put on your wish list!

ducduc custom

One of the great things about having a factory in Connecticut is we are able to offer custom colors, designs, and finishes. At ICFF 2008 we launched ducduc custom, which really just means, give us a call with your custom requests! Our designers can even do color renderings of your  room  so you can see how everything would look.
